A 50/10 Pomodoro timer for longer focus sessions
Work for 50 minutes, then take a 10-minute break. This preset runs two complete cycles, giving you a two-hour plan with 100 minutes of focus and 20 minutes of breaks. Start whenever you are ready.
50:00
120 minutes in this plan. Breaks start automatically after focus. Keep this page open for sound. Closing or reloading resets this session; your note stays only on this page. For a fixed daily schedule, use the main Tiblok timer.
What 50/10 means
The numbers describe one cycle: fifty minutes focused on a task and ten minutes away. This is a longer interval variant, rather than the classic 25-minute Pomodoro pattern. It leaves more uninterrupted space for activities such as drafting, analysis or programming, but a longer interval is not automatically better.
Check the calendar before you begin
Two rounds take 120 minutes including breaks. If you have a meeting in an hour, reduce Rounds to 1. If interruptions are likely, choose the 25-minute timer instead. This timer does not read your calendar or move meetings; you decide where the session fits.
Prepare the first round
Write a concrete output, gather the files or references you need, and remove unrelated tabs before starting. During the break, note the next action before stepping away. The second focus interval begins automatically, so keep an eye on the countdown when the ten minutes are nearly over.
A video version for your second screen
The interactive timer supports pause, reset and a task note. A standalone video countdown can be useful on another display, but it cannot preserve your task note or control this page. The main Tiblok daily timer currently uses fixed 25/5 blocks; changing this page does not change your saved daily settings.
Open the fixed daily timer or download a time blocking template to plan your available hours.
