A work timer for one clear output
Reserve a 50-minute focus block followed by a 10-minute break. Write the output you want to move forward, and park unrelated ideas in the distraction note instead of changing tasks immediately.
50:00
60 minutes in this plan. Breaks start automatically after focus. Keep this page open for sound. Closing or reloading resets this session; your note stays only on this page. For a fixed daily schedule, use the main Tiblok timer.
Name the work before timing it
A useful work block has a visible output, such as “draft the opening section” or “reproduce the failing case.” It may be a step toward a larger project rather than the entire task. Decide that step before you start the countdown so the first few minutes are not spent choosing what to do.
Use the distraction parking lot
When an unrelated thought appears, write a short reminder in the parking lot below the task note. Then return to the original action. Review the list after the interval: some items may need a later block and others may no longer matter. The note stays on this page and is not sent to a server.
Fit the session around commitments
The default focus-plus-break plan takes sixty minutes. This tool does not inspect your calendar. If the next meeting starts sooner, reset and shorten the focus interval, or choose the 25-minute timer. Pause is available for an interruption; Reset clears the countdown without clearing the text you wrote.
Review progress without overstating completion
At the end, compare the output with the action you wrote. Time spent is not proof that a task is finished. Record what changed, choose a next step, and take the break. For a schedule that keeps fixed start times all day, use the main Tiblok timer instead of repeating manual sessions.
