Adjust this session

Reset before changing lengths. Set break minutes to 0 for focus only.

110 minutes in this plan. Breaks start automatically after focus. Keep this page open for sound. Closing or reloading resets this session; your note stays only on this page. For a fixed daily schedule, use the main Tiblok timer.

Set a learning target

“Study biology” does not tell you what to do next. A clearer target might be “explain the three stages from memory” or “solve five practice problems and review the mistakes.” Write that target beside the countdown. The timer measures time, not understanding: check the work itself when the interval ends.

A worked two-block plan

Use the first block to review one section and make a small set of questions. During the break, stand up or get water. Use the second block to answer those questions without looking, then compare your answers with the material. This is an example workflow; adapt it to your course and learning needs.

Why this preset is 45/10

Forty-five minutes gives a longer stretch than the classic twenty-five-minute interval, while the ten-minute break leaves time to step away. There is no universal ideal duration. If you are just starting or the material is especially demanding, shorten the focus interval before you press Start.

Protect the end of your session

Two complete cycles take 110 minutes. Leave a little time afterward to write the next topic or unanswered question. Your note here is temporary and is not saved to an account. If you need a record across the day, the main Tiblok timer supports per-block tasks and Markdown export.
