PLAN THE TIME YOU ACTUALLY HAVE

A free time blocking template you can make your own

Choose a start time and a focus/break pattern, write one action for each block, then download your plan as Markdown or CSV. There is no email form, account requirement or paid template pack.

No email or account needed. The plan is generated in your browser and is not uploaded or saved here. Download before closing the page. Your browser controls where files are saved. These are planned blocks, not completed-task records.

Prefer a blank file?

Download the blank Markdown template for a text or note editor, or the blank CSV template for a spreadsheet. Both use a two-hour 09:00–11:00 example with four 25/5 rounds. The builder above can change those times.

How to fill a useful block

  1. Mark fixed commitments separately before you allocate focus time.
  2. Choose one next action that fits, rather than a whole project label.
  3. Keep the breaks and leave unscheduled buffer space around the plan.
  4. After using it, note what changed before making the next plan.

A worked example

For a writing morning, assign 09:00–09:25 to outlining five headings, 09:30–09:55 to drafting the first section, 10:00–10:25 to checking references, and 10:30–10:55 to revising. Take the five-minute breaks between blocks. These are example actions; the template does not imply that each will take exactly twenty-five minutes.

Use the format that fits your workflow

Markdown is plain text that can be edited in a note app. CSV opens as rows in spreadsheet software. These downloads are not calendar subscriptions, Notion templates or automatic integrations: import or copy them into the tool you use. A plan that crosses midnight labels the later times with (+1d), so they are not mistaken for the same morning.

Want the schedule to run as you work?

The template is a plan you can edit. The main Tiblok timer follows your chosen working hours on the clock, and its export describes completed blocks with written tasks. Keep those records separate from this template: planned time does not prove that work was completed. For a session that starts when you click, use the manual Pomodoro timer.
